Employers’ liability insurance

Employers’ liability insurance for surgeries protects you financially against any compensation claims that could occur if one of your staff has an accident at work that is the fault of your business.  If you employ staff, you’ll require employers’ liability insurance by law. So that’s why we include it as standard in our small business insurance packages.

Personnel protection

If you employ staff, we also include employers’ liability insurance for surgeries in your cover package. It’s required by law and comes as standard, with protection for many types of workers.

The reasons are quite simple. If a third party suffers an injury, or worse at your premises; they may have the right to claim compensation against your business. That might mean hefty compensation and legal costs that most surgeries just can’t stretch to.
